Description
Duties:
Provide primary care services to patients with developmental disabilities, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with special needs, such as memory care and dementia care.
Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological medications for patients with behavioral health conditions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care to patients.
Perform laboratory tests and interpret results to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Ensure infection control measures are followed in all patient care settings.
Assist with sterile processing of medical equipment and supplies.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a provider in a similar setting.
Strong knowledge and experience in providing care for patients with developmental disabilities.
Proficient in psychopharmacology and experienced in prescribing and managing medications for behavioral health conditions.
Familiarity with memory care and dementia care practices.
Experience working in a laboratory setting and conducting diagnostic tests.
Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols.
